Use this add-on if your unit has no lift access, the lift is down, or the item does not fit in the lift. The fee covers the logistics team carrying items by stairs during your scheduled delivery or disposal. This includes staircases within landed properties, HDB maisonettes, penthouses, and other apartments.

How pricing works

  • Charged per item, per floor.

  • Quantity to add = number of floors by stairs × number of items.

  • Count only the floors we actually carry by stairs. Floors served by lift are not counted.

  • Applies to both new furniture deliveries and furniture disposal.

Examples

  • Landed house, bedroom on 3rd storey: 2 floors by stairs × 1 mattress = add 2.

  • HDB maisonette: Lower to upper level = 1 floor by stairs x 2 items = add 2.

  • Penthouse with internal stairs: Lift to your floor, then 1 internal floor by stairs x 1 bed frame = add 1.

  • Walk up apartment to level 3: 2 floors by stairs × 3 items = add 6.

What’s included

  • Standard 2 person team delivery.

  • Carry by stairs to or from your unit during the scheduled delivery or disposal.

Limits and site conditions

  • Clear access on staircases and landings is required.

  • Tell us in advance about tight turns, spiral stairs, low ceilings, or narrow doors.

  • Safe handling limits apply. Very heavy or bulky pieces (e.g. weight exceeding 70 kg or size more than 200cm) may need extra manpower or a site check. Additional charges may apply.

  • Spiral, narrow, or obstructed staircases can slow work. If it is unsafe or not feasible, we will reschedule or cancel the delivery.

  • If the staircase quantity is under-declared, the amount is payable before we proceed upstairs.

If you do not purchase this add-on in advance, additional charges may apply for redelivery or return trips.
